Drying and Sterilizing Pallets

Always in the forefront, L.C.N. Inc. was the first in North America to dry and sterilize completely assembled handling pallets.

With backing from the Quebec Lumber Manufacturers Association (QLMA), we've had both treatment processes certified by Forintek Canada Corp.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recognizes the validity of the kiln-drying (K.D.) and heat treatment (H.T.) certificates issued by L.C.N. Inc. 

When requested by the importing country, the CFIA will issue a phytosanitary certificate attesting that our product is free of diseases and pests.

We sterilize and dry pallets to:

• destroy insects
• kill larvae
• eliminate mould-producing fungi
• reduce pallet weight
• lower moisture content
